Submission of Prior Authorizations
AmeriChoice enables providers to prepare and submit requests for prior authorizations interactively through the web, or through automated batch processing, with rapid response times to most requests
When you submit an authorization request it is automatically checked for many common errors, such as invalid dates and missing information, and it is automatically evaluated for authorization. A web page then presents you with a case number and status that you can print and store, regardless of whether the case status is pended for review or approved.
Not all requests can be approved automatically. Our staff evaluates those that cannot be handled by the automated system, and you will receive their determination through normal channels.
