Suzanne Stearns, Director of Operational Strategies
Ms. Stearns has over eighteen years of experience in multiple aspects of the health care delivery system including; Managed Care Organization, State Medicaid Agency, nursing facility management corporation, behavioral health agency and home health care provider. In her national role with the AmeriChoice MSO, Ms. Stearns works with current and new operations to promote operational practices, including staffing, information systems, quality improvement, and fiscal accountability that benefit AmeriChoice and our clients. Prior to joining AmeriChoice, Ms. Stearns was the Director of Operations for Evercare of Arizona, a health plan participating in the Arizona Long Term Care System, a capitated program for the nursing-home eligible population. In addition, Ms. Stearns has served as a Program Manager for the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS), working directly with participating managed care organizations to monitor and improve program operations.
