Stout Joins MSO As Executive Director California Operations

Melissa Stout has joined the AmeriChoice MSO as Executive Director of MSO Operations in California. She has extensive experience in the San Diego health care community and public education arena.

Ms. Stout has developed a long-term collaborative relationship with San Diego community providers and the leadership of the County Medical Services, a current AmeriChoice MSO client, and Medi-Cal programs.

Prior to joining AmeriChoice MSO, Ms. Stout was employed for 10 years as the Operations Manager for the Community Health Group health plan in Chula Vista. In that role, she served as a liaison between the health plan and regulators, including the California Department of Health Services, California Department of Managed Health Care and the California Managed Risk Medical Insurance Board. She was also responsible for supervising various departments including: regulatory affairs, client services, operational data, compliance, Medi-Cal product, Commercial product, and the Healthy Families product.

Ms. Stout's education includes a Master of Arts Degree in Organizational Management and a Bachelor of Science degree.
