AmeriChoice MSO Appoints Dr. Ashish Abraham Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Ashish Abraham has been appointed Chief Medical Officer of the AmeriChoice Management Services organization (MSO).

Dr. Abraham is a primary care physician and health care management executive with nine years of experience in direct clinical care, systems management and strategic consulting for government agencies. His expertise includes disease management, health program design and performance measurement and improvement.

Prior to joining AmeriChoice, Dr. Abraham was a principal and lead physician for the government clinical practice at Mercer HR Consulting. He also served as the medical director for large External Quality Review Organization projects and has conducted quality and operational effectiveness audits of Medicaid plans across the U.S. He also has helped design and implement programs for uninsured and underinsured patients with HIV/AIDS.
